I will stay neutral in this discussion. Remember to try and provide solutions to the issue. Like Federally mandating legalization or restricting abortion. Or the implementation into society.

I believe abortion is generally immoral. IMO, the beginning of an individual human life is gastrulation, since that is the point at which the cells start to become differentiated so its not a uniform blob of cells, the precursors to organs begin to form, and the nervous system begins to form, and because this is when it binds to the womb and starts to seriously consume resources, and because it is only at this point that it can no longer divide into say twins or triplets, and can thus for the first time definitively be called a single human.
I believe in the importance of freedom, and definitely am not some retrograde sexist who believes women shouldn't have rights, but I don't believe individual liberty extends to the right to terminate the life of another human. And I'm not saying people shouldn't have liberty or choice, because when it comes to consensual sex, both parties are aware of the risk that pregnancy may occur and choose to engage in sexual intercourse anyways, birth control and contraceptives exist and are easily affordable (much moreso than abortions).
In the instance that carrying the pregnancy to term, or if during childbirth the mother will die from the pregnancy, then abortion is absolutely justified as a measure of self-defense.
In the instance of rape, I support abortion, since the pregnancy is not something that resulted from consensual decision making on the mother's part and the consequences as such are not something the mother should be expected to be as responsible or accountable for.
I recognize that if abortion as birth control for consensual sex was made illegal there would be more back-alley and unregulated abortions, but quite frankly, and I hate to sound like a cruel and apathetic monster, I don't think an action which I believe to be taken by one party against the life and existence of another party should be tolerated legally just because it being made illegal would lead to the aggressor harming themselves while trying to take the other party's life. Overall, unless somebody can prove that abortion would be roughly as prevalent if it were illegal, this isn't something I'd change my stance on.
